The 7th ward is one of New Orleans’ oldest neighborhoods. And the first home to free people of color.

The home is a traditional double shotgun that we kept in the original two-unit configuration. We only used sustainable or reclaimed wood in the entire renovation — opting for reclaimed wood for all the trim and counter tops and sustainable new growth pine for the floors in the owner's unit.
