KEX’s in-house architecture and design team is the vital connection between development and construction. The architecture/design intern will establish agendas for design meetings; work with marketing to develop marketing plans, renderings and other marketing materials; organize internal meetings related to design; receive budgets and schedules from the development team to track the progress of each project; monitor construction administration with the construction team; and the approval of significant design items such as facades, kitchens and baths etc.
Assist senior managers with the day-to-day operations for KEX projects;
Attend meetings, prepare action plans related to project management;
Source project materials, working closing with vendors to manage costs and delivery;
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and community meetings as needed;
Lead KEX social media channels are part of overall marketing responsibilities.
Our ideal candidate has the following skills:
Degree in Architecture or Design
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management
Committed to social change through design and architecture
Proficient in Revit Modeling, AutoCAD drafting skills, SketchUp, Adobe CC, Project management software and Keynote
